Heedlight in your assistant

Your practice, in the assistant everyone already uses.

One Heedlight connector for Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini. Your team runs the day from a conversation, and your clients finish what you ask of them the same way. The only sign-in is the one that grants access.

Included in every staff seat Free for your clients No SIN ever shown to an assistant

Two sides, one record

Your clients matter as much as your team. So both get it.

Each person sees exactly what Heedlight already lets them see: staff by their role, clients by their portal, households and companies included.

For your clients · always free

“What do you still need from me?”

  • See what's open across their household and their companies, with whose file each item is on.
  • Send a slip by photo. It lands on the right request, waiting for your review.
  • Answer your questions and send messages that arrive in your Inbox.
  • See invoices and pay on your secure payment page.
  • Understand what they sign. The T183 is explained in chat and signed on a secure page.

For your team · included in the seat

“What needs me today?”

  • A ranked morning brief with the next step built into every line.
  • Capture by conversation. Describe the work, check the plan, confirm.
  • Ask a client for anything. See the exact message first, then send.
  • Mark work done, review documents, see who paid.
  • Every action has a name on it, and the assistant it came from.

For clients

Tax season, in one conversation.

No portal to find, no password to reset, no “just checking in” email. Your client asks, sends, answers and pays, and you see it all in Heedlight.

  • Their data, their choice. Before the first document, they're told it passes through their assistant, and offered a secure upload link instead.
  • Answers stay on the request, not lost in an email thread.
  • Money and signatures happen on your pages. No card number or signature passes through a chat.

For your team

The morning brief that does the work.

Ask what needs you and get it ranked: what's overdue, what's waiting on you, and the good news. Then act on it in the same sentence.

  • Capture by talking. “Sofia sold her rental condo, set up the work and ask her for the papers.” Heedlight finds the client and shows the plan before anything is created.
  • Preview, then send. Anything a client will receive is shown word for word, with the channel.
  • Your permissions, your name. The log reads “via assistant, by Maya”.

The two-sided loop

You ask in your chat. They answer in theirs. Nobody opens the app.

  1. 1 · Your teamAsk in their chat

“Ask Daniel for the company's bank statements.” Previewed, then sent.

  2. 2 · HeedlightNudges the client

An email or text in your practice's name, with one tap to continue in their assistant.

  3. 3 · Your clientAnswers in theirs

Their assistant shows the request. They drop in the files, and they're matched and recorded.

  4. 4 · Your teamSees it done

The work is unblocked and back on the list. The full history lives in Heedlight.

Assistants can't start a conversation on their own, so Heedlight's reminders do the nudging, on your schedule and in your name. When your client opens their assistant, it starts with what's new.

Connecting

A minute to connect. Always theirs to undo.

  1. Find Heedlight in the assistant's connectors and press Connect.
  2. Sign in on a page with your practice's name, by email link or password.
  3. Choose the files it may work on: themselves, their household, their companies.
  4. Change or disconnect any time, from the portal or the app.

Safeguards

The rules that can't be switched off.

Same permissions

An assistant can do exactly what its person can do in Heedlight or the portal, and nothing more.

No sensitive numbers

SINs, business numbers and bank details are never readable by an assistant. It can say “on file”, never the number.

Confirm before clients hear

Anything a client will receive is previewed word for word, with the channel, before it goes.

Your pages for money

Payments open your secure payment page, and the money goes to your firm. Card numbers never enter a chat.

Your pages for signatures

Signing happens on a secure page with an identity check and an audit trail that holds up.

Everything on the record

Every assistant action appears in the client's history and the audit log, with who did it and from where.

You stay in control

One page shows who's connected.

Turn assistants on or off for your team and your clients, decide whether clients may send documents through them, and disconnect anyone in one click. When someone leaves your team, their connection goes with their seat.

Questions about assistants.

Which assistants does it work with?

Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini, and any other assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard they share.

Does it cost extra?

No. It's included in every staff seat, and free for your clients. The AI runs on each person's own assistant, so there's no AI charge from us for it.

Can an assistant see my clients' SINs?

No. SINs, business numbers and bank details are never readable by an assistant. It can tell someone a number is on file, and nothing more.

Does anything go to a client without us seeing it?

No. When your team asks an assistant to contact a client, the exact message and channel are shown first, and it only goes out when they confirm.

What about clients who don't use an assistant?

Nothing changes for them. The portal, your emails and texts work exactly as they do today. The assistant is one more way in, never the only one.

Included in every seat

Run your practice from the chat you already have open.

$19.99 CAD per staff member per month, with every feature. Your clients are free, and so is their assistant connection.
